Blodau TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to Blodau. By accessing or using our website at blodau.uk and placing orders with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. About Us

Blodau is a custom-made fashion brand. All garments are individually crafted to order. Our contact email is info@blodau.uk.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By browsing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

3. Custom & Made-to-Order Items

All products sold by us are made to order and customised to your specifications. As such:

  • Production begins immediately upon receipt of your order and payment.

  • Made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless they arrive faulty or significantly different from what was agreed.

  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate measurements and specifications at the time of ordering. We cannot be held responsible for garments that do not fit due to incorrect measurements supplied.

  • We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to designs to ensure quality and wearability, while staying true to the agreed style.

4. Ordering Process

To place an order:

  • Select your desired item, fabric, and customisation options.

  • Submit your measurements or get in touch.

  • Review your order summary carefully before confirming.

  • Payment in full (or an agreed deposit) is required to begin production.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email acknowledgement. This does not constitute acceptance of your order; acceptance occurs when production begins and is confirmed by us.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

  • Bank transfer (for bespoke orders, by arrangement)

All payments are processed securely. We do not store card details on our servers.

6. Production & Delivery Times

As all items are made to order, please allow the following lead times (indicative only):

  • Standard orders of Dwynwen, Eira or Olwen dresses: 3 weeks min unless stated otherwise from order confirmation

Delivery timescales are estimates only and may be affected by fabric sourcing, seasonal demand, or courier delays. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

7.1 Made-to-Order Items

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless:

  • The item is faulty or damaged upon arrival.

  • The item differs materially from the agreed design or specifications.

In these cases, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@blodau.uk with photographs of the issue.

7.2 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty or incorrect, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • Repair or alteration

  • Replacement item

  • Full or partial refund

7.3 Right to Cancel (UK/EU Customers)

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase, provided that production has not yet commenced. If production has begun, your statutory right to cancel may be limited under the custom goods exemption.
