Dwynwen is named for the Welsh patron saint of love. She is a bias-cut maxi with an elegant cowl neckline, a long, flowing silhouette and a fully lined bodice.
This one-of-a-kind Dwynwen is made from ethically sourced peace silk and has been hand-dyed by me at home using natural plant dyes. This particular dress is dyed with madder, creating the soft blush-red shade shown here.
Because every piece is dyed by hand using natural dyes, no two Blodau dresses are ever exactly alike. This is the only Dwynwen currently available, making her a truly individual piece.
Please note: natural plant dyes have their own character, so the colour may vary subtly from what is shown in the photographs.
This dress is a size 12. The model is a size 12 and 5ft 7.
Everything is plastic-free and fully biodegradable.
