In Welsh mythology, flowers grew wherever Olwen walked.
Olwen a bias-cut midi with a cowl, shown here with a silk rose neck or shoulder tie detail. She drapes beautifully and is one of those versatile dresses – weddings, summer parties, a night out.
Like all Blodau dresses, Olwen is made from ethically sourced peace silk and dyed by hand at home using natural plant dyes – madder (reds) , indigo (blues) and marigold (yellows), with more colours to come as things grow. Each dress is also available in undyed ivory. Because I dye every piece myself, no two are ever identical. The colour you get is completely your own.
Olwen is available with or without a silk rose accessory, made from fabric off-cuts from the same peace silk and available in all colours.
Please note that colours shown are a guide only. Natural plant dyes mean every piece comes out a little differently, so yours may vary slightly from what's pictured.
The model is a size 12 and 5ft7. Plastic-free and fully biodegradable. Available in all Blodau colours.

The Blodau collection is available in sizes 8–16. All dresses are handmade to order, so please refer to the measurements below to find your best fit.
